I want you to understand something before I say another word. For six innings on Friday night at Jingu, I sat with that old, familiar knot in my stomach — the one every Hanshin fan is born with, the one that whispers here we go again. We were down 0–3… And then the seventh inning happened. Four runs. One inning. No home run, no miracle swing — just walk, walk, sac fly, double, and Oyama Yusuke driving a single into right field to win it. We won 4–3. And I have not felt this alive since October.
